DAY 1: JAKARTA – MEDAN
Arrive at KUALANAMU International Airport. You will meet your tour guide and, after a greeting service, transfer to Medan to enjoy a city tour. Visit the Palace of Sultan Deli and the Grand Mosque. Then, drive to Tangkahan (approximately 3 hours) through scenic roads lined with cocoa plantations. Upon arrival in Tangkahan, check in at your accommodation.

DAY 2: TANGKAHAN TOUR

DAY 3: TANGKAHAN – BUKIT LAWANG

DAY 4: BUKIT LAWANG JUNGLE TREKKING
After breakfast, cross the jungle river by boat and visit the orangutan rehabilitation center at feeding time. Continue on foot into Gunung Leuser National Park, home to diverse wildlife including orangutans, Thomas’s monkeys, toucans, lizards, and, with luck, the Sumatran rhinoceros or tiger. Spend the day trekking, exploring the flora and fauna, and enjoy lunch in the wilderness. You may swim in a jungle river before spending the night in a camp, listening to the sounds of the jungle.

DAY 5: GUNUNG LEUSER NATIONAL PARK – BUKIT LAWANG
After breakfast, continue exploring the jungle and wildlife. After lunch, return to Bukit Lawang by boat down the jungle river. Spend a quiet afternoon in the village, swimming in the river or walking around the area.

DAY 6: BUKIT LAWANG – NIAS ISLAND
After breakfast, drive to Medan and proceed to Kualanamu International Airport for a flight to Gunungsitoli (Nias Island). Upon arrival at Binaka Airport, meet your local tour guide and transfer to Teluk Dalam in the south of Nias Island. Check in at your hotel.

DAY 7: BAWOMATALUO TOUR
After breakfast, explore the heritage village of Bawomataluo, known for its traditional houses and the King’s house made from massive wood. Continue to Lake Toba, stopping to visit the King’s Longhouse at Pematang Purba, traditional houses in Dokan, Sipiso Piso Waterfall, and the Simarjarunjung viewpoint.
